QuickBooks Portable Company Files Make it Easy to Exchange QBs Files With Customers

Beginning with QuickBooks 2006, QuickBooks company files became far too big to email back and forth. Fortunately, Intuit created portable company files to address this.

QuickBooks portable company files do not replace the Accountant's Copy, which allows you to make changes to your customer's data which they can later import into their own company file, but it is very useful for situations in which you won't be making any changes.
