Customizing the QuickBooks Home Page

April 11th, 2008 · No Comments

The tasks and the workflow which show up on the QuickBooks Home page are meant to reflect how you use QuickBooks for your business. If they don’t do so, then you can customize the QuickBooks Home page so that they will.

To customize the QuickBooks Home page you must be in single-user mode.
QuickBooks Single User Mode

Click the Home icon to get to the QuickBooks Home page.

In the Get Started box on the right, click Customize QuickBooks.
Customize QuickBooks

On the Company Preferences tab, check or uncheck the boxes to show only the tasks you want to see on your QuickBooks Home page. Also, note the list of QuickBooks features showing in the Related Preferences box. You can turn these features on or off by clicking on the blue links and then making the appropriate changes. Click OK.
