Samarak helps financial professionals, including accountants, bookkeepers, QuickBooks consultants, controllers and CFOs, connect with and obtain work over the web. In addition, we provide a variety of resources to help financial professionals service their clients.
We have expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and in managing small businesses. We seek to combine these skills to bring our customers many opportunities for employment and to help our customers provide superior service to their clients.

Professional Profile
Dave Dunn, President and founder of Samarak Business Services, has had extensive financial management and human resources experience in both the profit and not-for-profit fields.
Dave has served as the Vice President, Finance & Administration for Summit Software Company, an international software company located in Jamesville, NY, which sells its own software and works closely with Microsoft, since 1997. During this time Dave has also worked as a part-time CFO for multiple companies throughout the United States.
In the spring of 2004 Dave founded Samarak Business Services and launched www.samarak.com as a means of attracting CFO clients over the web. As a result of the tremendous success of this endeavor (Samarak’s website is now one of the first to show up in search engines when people search for “part-time CFO”, “CFO Services” & “CFO for hire”), Dave decided to re-focus Samarak Business Services as a company dedicated to helping other financial professionals find clients via the web.
Dave received his Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College and his MBA from Syracuse University. He is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, a Microsoft Office Specialist Expert with expertise in Microsoft Excel and a Certified Bookkeeper.
Dave currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Montessori School of Syracuse and serves on the Board of Enable, which provides individualized services to children and adults with disabilities.
